FAQs or Facts?

Why should we choose you?

As a wedding photographer, I am here to capture your day without disrupting the moments. Everyone participates in this reportage but you are the key figures. You will be able to retell this day through images as if you experienced it from the front row.

What is your style?

Everything that takes place in front of me will be captured on camera. Does a bridesmaid or boy fall, or one of them drop the rings, it will all be on there! Those spontaneous moments from laughter, screams and roars to those many tears. In fact, I have a high-contrast post processing. Sun and shade those are my extra assets, the harder the sun, the more fun for me.

Posing is not our thing!

With me, you can choose:

1: We head out together for up to two hours and disappear from the setting for a while, to a setting you choose. Quietly among the three of us (or four) and we'll take some fun, spontaneous and especially unexpected photos.

2: We stay in the setting but if my eye catches something when we're between venues and then I ask you guys separately, you know what time it is. Do a short session and I then try to do this several times during the day.

Regardless of whether it's option 1 or 2, together we provide incredible portraits, and at evening fall you can certainly expect this....

Are you a specialist then?

Every year I try to attend workshops to update my knowledge. In 2019, I attended a large 4-day workshop with other renowned photographers. In 2020 I was in London for a wedding conference, new insights, extra inspiration. I see it as a baggage that I keep growing and carrying with me. Knowledge is the most valuable aspect of a photographer. Over the years I have been allowed and able to deepen myself to such an extent to photograph in low-light conditions.

So are you doing this full time?

I am a full-time professional soldier, service chief of the audio-visual section in Heverlee. Luck was on my side to be able to pursue my passion within defense. So I see myself as a full-time photographer.

What are you offering?

For a full wedding shoot, I deliver an average of 700 to 800 images, all depending on what is happening during the day. I process each image individually with the necessary attention to detail. I also deliver them via a private online gallery, in the highest quality.

A wedding album, 3 different covers, colors and papers. Together we make the perfect combination, to your style and liking.

I also prefer to take a second shooter with me, at a budget-friendly price you get a 2nd photographer with you throughout your day. This is so opportune to have additional, unexpected moments captured. Since my focus will be on you I can't possibly have seen everything.

What if you fall ill?

There is a solution for everything. Thanks to my many years of experience, I have built up a nice network where I can certainly find the right person to replace me. Someone with the same fun style and energy as me.

So how does everything work out financially?

Because both you, and I, want certainty, I ask for the amount spread in 3 phases. 2 advances and a final bill. After the wedding, I start the post-processing immediately. Within a week I send a nice email with 2 sneak peek pictures that you can spread on your social media, including the final invoice that has to be paid within 7 days.

After all, good agreements make better friends right?

Why are wedding photographers pricey?

Because wedding photography carries with it a great responsibility. Our job is there, to capture your day in the best possible way and at the correct moments. Obviously, a day like a wedding does not go "controlled". There are so many variables that occur on a day that we have to consider and anticipate. So someone who loves the craft has a huge baggage of knowledge and material to bring with him or her. As a result, he or she, masters every situation. In my case from the beginning to the end of your day. Don't forget: After your day, we as wedding photographers have a few more weeks of work in selecting and post-processing your images.
